Life at St Thomas’ Church is not just about Sundays – there’s a lot for people to get involved with, including social events throughout the year. In the past, we’ve had Church lunches and suppers, country walks, family picnics and even a fantastic, toe-tapping hoedown! Why not come along to our next event? It would be great to get to know you. Click here for news of our upcoming events.
We also have lots of Church groups that meet regularly on all days of the week, not just Sundays, and all of them welcome new members at any time. (You’d be most welcome to just pop along to try one out, without making any long-term commitment.) If you are interested in coming along to one of the groups, or simply want more information, please click the relevant icon below or email by clicking here.
In a new venture for 2014, we have launched a Luncheon Club to provide hot meals for the over 60s. We offer a delicious three-course meal for just £3.50 – why not come along or invite someone you know to join us? It’s a great opportunity to get out and about, meet new people or catch up with friends, all while enjoying great food.
The Luncheon Club is held in the Wade Centre, next to the Church Hall, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Advance booking is required – places at the Luncheon Club are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To book your place, you can contact us by clicking here.
Go on, give yourself a break from the cooking and washing up – come along to the Luncheon Club, we’ll be delighted to see you!
